Kalipur Beach is what you imagine when you think “peaceful island hideaway.” The black sand and green backdrop make it a quiet spot, especially if you’re trying to dodge the crowds. It’s right by Aerial Bay and perfect for sunset strolls or just zoning out by the sea. But the big draw? Turtles. Lots of them. Olive Ridley, Leatherback, Green—they all come ashore to lay eggs during nesting season. If you’re lucky, you’ll catch this incredible sight. Swimming here isn’t always safe because of the currents, but if you just want to chill and watch the waves, it’s perfect. Kalipur’s also a handy base for checking out nearby spots like Ross & Smith.
